For the Thanksgiving holiday, I traveled up north along the St. Lawrence River in New York. We’re about 20 minutes from Canada; you just have to take a look across the river to see it. Most of my mother’s side of the family resides here, and it’s always a ruckus when we get together. Right now, it’s 10 degrees, and it’s only going to get colder. We can expect -2 degrees later tonight.
I’m stuck in Siberia. At least this is what I think Siberia would remotely feel like.
Since I’m stuck with my family members for the next day and a half, I’ll refrain from doing my planned blog post discussing the filming locations for the 2006 movie The Holiday, starring Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet. I plan to have this be a much longer post, and I won’t be able to give it my undivided attention at this moment. My mother keeps yelling at me to join in the family board game festivities. Wish me luck.
So until I have time to do this post, check out my “Movie Motivation” and “What’s in my iTunes” pages for new additions that I’ve recently discovered!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
