A few days ago, a friend texted me a picture of her newly-painted pumpkin, a cute Frankenstein to display in her apartment. Since then, I can’t seem to escape the fact that it’s the season for pumpkin-related activities. Yesterday, there was a pumpkin-painting event on my campus, and although I didn’t attend, I spent the afternoon watching Hocus Pocus which is certainly not lacking in the display of pumpkins and other Halloween items.

So I figured it would be fitting to continue with the Halloween theme I started with my last post. Let me introduce you to Mr. Bone’s Pumpkin Patch located in West Hollywood, CA. The pumpkin patch hosts an array of activities each season that include a petting zoo, face painting, and pony rides. They even offer a service to have your pumpkin professionally carved by their Master Carvers. Finally, its location of West Hollywood causes it to become a celebrity hotspot during this time of year.

If I ever get the chance to visit this pumpkin patch, I’ll pick out a pumpkin and have it professionally carved. I’m not artistic at all, so it would be a shame for me not to take advantage of the Master Carvers’ skills. But of course, I’ll keep an eye out for the celebrities that frequent the patch each year.
See you soon, Mr. Bones.
