Heidi Klum really is the “Queen of Halloween”

It’s that time of year again where the leaves are changing, the weather is finally getting chillier, and everyone is drinking those pumpkin spiced lattes. I must admit that I finally had a PSL for the first time this past week, and I now understand why they’re all the rage during this time of year.

Fall also brings about the never-ending displays of Halloween goods at nearly every store I walk into. You can’t escape the candy corn, skull heads, and costumes that scream at you it is an absolute necessity to participate in this ridiculous holiday. I’ve never been a big fan of Halloween. I think I would enjoy it more if I didn’t have to put the money and effort into buying or creating a costume that I’m only going to wear once.

But thanks to a certain celebrity, I may change my mind about the holiday.

Every year, supermodel Heidi Klum hosts an annual Halloween party in New York City. Klum herself is very invested in the holiday, so much so that she tweeted about her upcoming party back in July. I don’t even start thinking about Halloween until the week before. This year’s 14th party will be held at Marquee Nightclub with DJ Questlove providing the entertainment.

I wonder what outrageous costume she has planned for this year.

Marquee Nightclub is located on 10th Avenue in New York City, and the website’s schedule of events features Klum’s halloween party. The event is open to the public at $50 a person, but you must be 21 or over to attend. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to go until 2015. Until then, I’ll just add it to the bucket list.

Until I’m able to actually attend, I’ll try to get excited for this Halloween by looking at Klum’s past costumes. I’ve included my favorites below.
